A chronograph watch is equipped with an additional mechanism, visible on the dial of the watch, which allows the duration of an event to be counted. The aim is to measure elapsed time by triggering the system on demand. The chronograph is composed of a central hand and can sometimes display minutes and more rarely hours. Indeed, it is only supposed to measure short periods of time.

The water resistance of watches is understood for a new watch with gaskets, a glass and case in perfect condition. If the water resistance is ensured during manufacture and is proven when the watch leaves the workshops, it is not guaranteed 'for life'. The duration of this water resistance can vary over a more or less long period depending on the characteristics of the model, the use that is made of the watch and the care given to the watch. The normal aging of the gaskets that ensure water resistance is accelerated by thermal shocks or strong temperature variations that cause the watch to go from full sunlight to cold water or a humid environment.

We invite you to follow this tutorial to perform this operation yourself using the adjustment tool received when you purchased online. You can also go to one of the retailers of the Ice-Watch brand to change the size of the link bracelet. This type of modification may have a cost depending on the retailer.

Within the Ice-Watch brand, it is necessary to consider all watches divided into families or collections. Within the same collection, you can therefore find the same model/reference/sku in different colors, materials and sizes. Each collection corresponds to a style, time of your day, activity, mood, desire, taste, etc. We hope that these different collections allow you to appreciate our brand.

You can clean your watch strap simply by gently applying water and neutral soap. If cleaning requires opening your watch or more significant handling, only a professional equipped with the appropriate instruments will be able to do this without damaging your watch.

Salt water, acidity from perspiration, perfume and chemicals attack the various elements of the watch (strap, case or other internal elements) and reduce the duration of the water resistance. This is why we recommend regularly checking the condition of the watch and examining whether all the elements that contribute to water resistance are intact and in good condition: the crown, pushers, glass, gaskets. Do not use the crown or the pushers of the watch when you are in the water. If the watch is equipped with a screw-in crown, always check that the crown is screwed back in completely before going into the water.

If you notice any damage or anomalies, avoid any contact with water. Please note that water condensation under the watch glass or on the dial indicates that the watch is no longer waterproof and must be repaired by a professional as soon as possible. You can contact our online after-sales service or visit an Ice-Watch brand retailer so that they can send us your watch.

We recommend that you go to a point of sale that distributes the brand to have the battery changed. This type of replacement may have a cost depending on the point of sale you go to.
